Milena Rajković

Milena Rajković was born in Niš where, as an excellent student, she finished Elementary and Secondary school. She graduated at Faculty of Musical Arts in Skopje, Macedonia in the class of Prof. Jasminka Čakar. After graduation she started to work as piano Professor in “Dr. Vojislav Vučković” school where she excersised comprehensive pedagogical work with significant success. For two years she worked at Higher Musical school in Niš. Since 2002. she works at Faculty of Arts teaching piano – comparative discipline (theoretical Department). During a three year period she worked as a Head of Piano Department. She completed second degree of studies and became a Master of Sciences at Faculty of Musical Arts in Skopje. As a jury member,  together with prominent Serbian and foreign pedagogues, she participated in several young pianists’ competitions. Together with her students she took part in several courses and seminars – Course of S. Gadzijev and Starkman, Master class with Prof. Svetlana Bogino and Prof. Vladimir Ogarkov, Course of Arbo Valdma, Prof. Aleksandar Serdar, Prof. Jurij Kot… During her pedagogic work she achieved outstanding results at Yugoslav, Serbian and international competitions. In May, 2014. based on several prizes won through the years on Mozart competition in Frascati (Rome), she was invited and had held master class ‘Didactics of methodology and repertoire’. As a founder and creator of International Student complementary piano competition, this year for the seventh time, she organized and coordinated activities on that event. In the last few years she is active in performing activities. She performed concerts in Linz (Austria), Ljubljana (Slovenija), Bol at island Brač (Croatia), Skopje (Macedonija), Niš and other cities (Serbia)…
