Jelena Bakopoulou received her MA Degree in Vocal studies at Department of classical music the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with scholarship by Monody Music Academy Kungila Musikaliska Stockholm, with postgraduate scholarship by SIDA and the royal grant for the ‘best promising student in Norway. She received the Singing Degree in 2002 at the Faculty of Music Art of the University of Arts in Belgrade. Jelena is also a graduate of Music Theory of the Music Higher School of Niš in Serbia. She sings works for Orchestra and Chamber Music, Church Music and profane music works ranging from baroque to modern music and the 2006 Opera pieces. She took part in many concerts and operas in various European countries where she received the awards. She has lived with her family in Tripoli for eight years.
