Inna Shorohova

Inna Shorokhova was born in 1965, in the city of Kemerovo. In 1984 she graduated from the conductor-choral Department of the Kemerovo music school, in 1990- at the Novosibirsk state Conservatory M. I. Glinka as a choir conductor, a teacher of choral disciplines. Since 1999 she has been working at the Kemerovo state Institute of culture. In 2011 she was appointed Director of the Institute of music. In 2013 she was awarded the academic title “associate Professor”. Currently, she is the Dean of the faculty of music, Professor of conducting and academic singing. She is one of the organizers and participant in the implementation of joint educational programs including learning at Kemerovo State Institute of Culture and the Pedagogical University of Changchun (China), as well as programs of academic mobility Erasmus+ at the Fine Arts Academy (Szczecin, Poland), University Mozarteum (Salzburg, Republic of Austria), the University of NIŠ (Niš, Republic of Serbia). Inna Shorokhova is the organizer and artistic Director of two long-term international projects: the Open international Easter festival “Chorovoe Veche Sibiri” and the international festival-competition “Sibiriada”. For 19 years, Shorokhova Inna directs unique in its role, an educational and creative team – Choral theater “Academy” KemGIK. It is an active concert band, well known both in Russia and abroad. It is awarded the Highest award of the world Association of international festivals and competitions. She is the holder of six Grand Prix awards and more than forty victories in International competitions (Germany, Macedonia, Czech Republic, China, Serbia, France, England, Poland, Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, Hungary, Russia).
