Dejan Tubić (1964) was born in Blace. He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Department of History of Art, on the topic “Kosta Miličević – Life and Work” in the class of prof. Jerko Denegri, PhD. He obtained his MA degree at the same Faculty with the theme “Birth of Serbian Modern Painting” in the class of prof. Lidija Merenik, PhD. Since 2000, he has been employed at the Faculty of Philosophy in Kosovska Mitrovica, Department of History of Art. He received his PhD degree from the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Department of History of Art, with the theme “Secession as Serbian Early Modern” in 2013. He defended his PhD thesis with the following Commission: prof. PhD Aleksandar Kadijević, president, prof. PhD Lidija Merenik, mentor, and prof. PhD Nikola Šujica, a member.
