Laura Dimitrova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria in 1982. Since 1991 she is a member of the Union of the Bulgarian Artists. Since 2015 she is professor in decorative arts at FPPE, “St. Kliment Ohridski” University, Sofia. Since 2013 she is PhD. She works in the fields of painting, drawing, collage, artistic textile. Up until now Laura Dimitrova have taken part in more than 200 group exhibitions, plein-air sessions and art projects in Bulgaria and abroad. She lives in Sofia, Bulgaria.
