Jenny Miller

National Opera Studio alumnus, Jenny Miller sang as a soloist for Glyndebourne Festival and Touring Opera, Scottish Opera, Opera North, ENO and ROH before moving to dramatic soprano repertoire, singing Brunnhilde (Ring Cycle), Tosca and Witch in Hansel and Gretel for Longborough Festival Opera, and developing a parallel career as a director. Her directing credits include Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Britten’s Noye’s Fludde, Krasa’s Brundibar, a touring production of L’Incoronazione Di Poppea (Complete Singer),and ‘Hell Hath No Fury’( based on 17th century solo cantatas) which also toured London and the South East. Jenny directed Le Nozze Di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Cosi Fan Tutte and Die Zauberflote for Longborough Festival Opera, also directing young singers in a touring version of these productions for venues in South East England, and Bizet’s Pearl Fishers for Opera South East. Audrey is also in great demand as a vocal coach. She joined the staff at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 1999 and has been awarded an honourary ARAM in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the opera department. She heads the RAM’s prestigious Song Circle. Audrey also coaches at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden on the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, and is a guest coach for Samling Foundation masterclasses and Solti repetiteur course in Italy. She has given masterclasses in London, Stockholm, Seoul, Orford, Montreal and Denmark. Recent recitals include appearances at Musée d’Orsay Paris, Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, The Sage, Newcastle, Haddo Arts Festival and the Lyddington Festival.
